What is stored and why

discgolf-market, discgolf-locale and discgolf-theme remember your country, language and any explicit appearance choice. discgolf-saved-places-v1 stores public saved-place IDs. They remain on this device until you clear them. If you leave appearance set to System, no theme preference is stored.

Shared Saved places are encoded after # in the URL. The server does not store that list, although browsers, recipients or messaging software may retain the link.

Cloudflare Turnstile protects contact and subscription forms. It may use essential browser storage and process device or request signals to distinguish people from automated abuse. Brevo stores subscription and contact information on its servers, rather than in a browser cookie.

We do not currently set advertising cookies. If non-essential analytics or storage is introduced, this policy and consent controls will be updated first. Last updated 9 August 2026.
